Week-a-versity!!!

Hey there Jammers! I'm back with a little post :D

WOOOHOOO! This lil blog has been around for a WHOLE WEEK! I know that to some of you who have been running blogs for months or even years, this is nothing, but this honestly means so much for me :3 Without your support, I would have never gotten this far, and The Animal Jam Bubble would never exist. Thanks again๐Ÿ˜Š

Weekly Re-cap

Monday: What's Happening?  and A Bit About Me :)

Tuesday: Just A Little Idea

Wednesday: Mistakes, Blog Updates, And A Big Shout Out!

Thursday: A Flash Poem And 5 Things To Do On Animal Jam :D

Yay! I've met my resolution off posting every day during the week!

What is 1 gem/ 1 diamond worth?

Gems

Gems and diamonds are Animal Jam's main currency, but what are they really worth? (Credit to neros1234 for the idea :D)

On the Animal Jam Website, I can buy gems for the following prices:

- 100,000 Gem Gift Certificate ($59.95)
- 25,000 Gem Gift Certificate ($19.95)
- 10,000 Gem Gift Certificate ($9.95)

So, lets say we take the worst deal: 10,000 gems for $10

10,000 gems/ $10 = 1,000 gems / $1

So basically, when you become a New Jammer, Peck gives you $1. Since there are over 130 players, Peck has given away at least...130...MILLION...DOLLARS!!!!!!!! I never knew peck was that rich-

Peck | Animal Jam Wiki | Fandom

1,000 gems / 100 cents  = 1 gem / 0.1 cents

I own about 6,000 gems, so I have... at least $6. Yipee.

On the Animal Jam website, I can buy diamonds for the following prices:

- 75 Diamond Gift Certificate ($49.95)
- 25 Diamond Gift Certificate ($19.95)
- 10 Diamond Gift Certificate ($9.95)

Once again, we are taking the worst deal: 10 diamonds for 10 dollars.

10 diamonds / 10 dollars = 1 diamond / 1 dollar

I own 30 diamonds...so I have... at least $30. So, in total, I am worth at least  $36 dollars in Animal Jam currency. ๐Ÿ‘

Thanks so much for reading! Ill be back on Monday with another new post! Thanks so much to all of your support :3

A Flash Poem & 5 Things To Do On Animal Jam :D

 Hey there Jammers!

Just a quick little post today :D It's almost The Animal Jam Bubble's one week anniversary! I would host a party but... welp, you can all blame the end of flash.

Why did you bother to end, flash?

You've given my heart a huge gash.

Animal Jam, I can play no more.

And now I want to cry on the floor.

5 Things To Do On Animal Jam

1.  Host a Fashion Show!

These are super fun, and can be played by all Jammers! Its also a great way to host a giveaway without being accidentally reported  by someone assuming its a scam. If you want, give a "big" prize to the winner, and gift others RIMs for participating.

2. Play the Seasonal Adventure!

These adventures are around for a limited time, and are one of the fastest ways of obtaining den betas, nerd glasses, and spikes. Some of the seasonal prizes from these adventures are also great for decorating seasonal dens!

Adventure New-Years-Fortune.png

3. Bust a Scammer!

Go around Jamma looking for Jammers announcing giveaways. Go to their den to see what the giveaway is all about. If it involves a scamming method such as accept, accept, decline or a trust trade, (click here to find a full list of scams) report them and try to warn others through Jam-A-Grams (M) or by posting on another Jammer's Jammer Wall (NM). Take screenshots/videos as proof and submit a report here

4. Gift Someone Their Dream Item!

Find someone that is looking for a particular item (It doesn't have to be big- for some, its just a RIM or a den beta) and gift it to them! There is nothing like brightening someone's day, and after all, kindness doubles when shared.

5. Host a Party!

Yes- Members can make their own party for only three diamonds- but there is nothing like your very own party! First, choose a theme, and then decorate based on the theme! For example, if you want to host a trading party, decorate your den with lots of places for traders to sit, such as cushions, chairs, or bean bags.

Thanks for reading!

Mistakes, Blog Updates, And A Big Shout Out!

Hey there! Tkaranto here. back with another post!

2 Mistakes I Made as a New Jammer

1. Misunderstanding as to how to get RIMs.

When I joined Animal Jam, I was immediately excited about trading. I soon noticed that many Jammers had items on their list with a "RARE" tag. I assumed that to get these "rare" items, I had to find the one rare colour hidden in between the other coloured items. I was really confused when I bought all the colours of the lei and still didn't have the rare one!

2. Refer a Friend

When I joined Animal Jam, I was shown the "Refer a Friend" page, explaining that if I refered a buddy who eventually got a membership, I would get a week long membership too. I didn't know that to refer a friend you need to share a link, so I went around Jamma buddying every member I saw!

New Blog Section???

Yup, you heard that! I've decided to add a new section to this blog!

Drum roll please...

Introducing Animal Jam Horoscopes!!!

Basically, I'm going to put together a bunch of horoscopes based on your main Animal Jam Avatar! I'm going to change it (hopefully?) every few months or so- but this may take a bit of time to set up- I just discovered there are over 50 animal avatars in Animal Jam!!! I'm starting to really regret this, but I'll start by adding one a day, starting with the most common avatars (mainly non member animals and some of the really popular member ones, such as the arctic wolf and eagle) then moving on to the less common animals (lemurs, moose, etc.).

Shout Out Wednesday!

Ive also decided to do an big Shout Out! Thanks so much to:

Creator

popcornpizza25! Thanks so much for taking time out of your day to reading and commenting on all my posts, and keeping this blog alive! You deserve a lot more than this, but here it is anyway.๐Ÿ˜Š

That is all for today!

Just A Little Idea :3

Hey, Jammers! I'm back with another post!

I just had a great idea of an update Animal Jam should add that would be a nice change to the bi-weekly updates of re releases and reminders that Kimbara Outback, or any other underrated place in Animal Jam, still exists.

I also noticed that Animal Jam hasn't really done anything to raise awareness to the threat of COVID-19. Other that the odd Jammer wearing a Western Scarf and shouting at everyone who isn't "Socially Distancing", Its almost like COVID-19 doesn't exist. I understand that for some, playing Animal Jam is an escape from life's new obstacles, but judging from how big of a role Animal Jam plays in Jammer's lives, it could have a HUGE impact on many Jammers by endorsing social distancing, sanitizing, and the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

So...Tkaranto Presents...

...The Phantom Pandemic!!!

(๐Ÿ‘†Just A Little Sketch Of The General Idea๐Ÿ‘†)

A "Pandemic Portal" would be place in Jamma Township. That would look similar to the Land portal collection, and in the portal there would be a drawing of "Phantom Viruses".

Portal.png

Once Jammers entered the portal, they would be greeted with the following messages:
"The Phantoms Have Released An Invisible Foe Apon The Land..."
"... Placing Jammers In A Deep Sleep, Until A Vaccine Is Found..." (Animal Jam is against saying the words "dead" and "killed".)
"... Help Keep Others Safe. Search For The Vaccine, And Follow Protocols... The Fate Of Jamma Is In Your Hands."

Jammers would then be given tasks to complete, including sanitizing before entering buildings; collecting, personalizing and upgrading PPE; socially distancing; cleaning surfaces; and finding/creating a vaccine to earn prizes. Depending on each individual Jammer's level, they would get different uncommon and rare prizes such as hazmat suits, masks, gloves, and visors.. (Making them uncommon and rare is important because it increases the chances Jammers will wear them; Many Jammers will only wear an item for it's value XD) Unlike other Adventures, progress is saved, and all Jammers work together to reach the goal of "Level 50000", where the Phantom Virus is defeated. A second Adventure would be released later, called "The Second Wave", where a second strain develops.

Thanks so much for reading this little post :3

A Bit About Me :)

 Hey there, Jammers!

Just thought I'd make a quick post about how and why I decided to join the Animal Jam Community. Enjoy!

How Did I Start Playing Animal Jam?

When I was younger, I had a HUGE obsession with the National Geographic Kid's Almanac. It was a children's Almanac that was released yearly, and contained fun facts about just about anything and everything. One of the things that I looked forward to seeing in each year's edition was the puzzles/games from Animal Jam. One year, (the year National Geographic and Animal Jam parted ways) I noticed the Animal Jam puzzle wasn't in the Almanac. I must've spent hours, double checking every page to make sure I didn't miss it!

That same year, most of the other kids in my class had already gotten their own cellphone- except for me. On my search to find a way to contact my friends, one of my friends mentioned they played Animal Jam, and we could chat there. That night, I joined Animal Jam under the username sia007. However, we soon discovered the difficulty with chatting on AJ. (this still annoys me to this day)

sia007: Are you River?
nummykid (my friend): Are you Eggplant?
nummykid:*tries again* Is that you, Elephant?
sia007: Do you go to my stool?(school)
nummykid: Are you trying to say pool?(school)

*Half an hour later, we come to the conclusion we know each other*
We started meeting up to chat on AJ, and I soon got to know the community quite well.

When Did I Discover The Blogging Community?

Two summers ago (2019) I spent my time looking things up like "How To Get Rare On Aj" and "How To Get A Free Membership" (Yes, it took me a year to admit I couldn't get a free membership). Somehow, I stumbled across The Animal Jam Potato, a hilarious blog written by neros1234 (sadly, the blog is now only accessible by being invited).

I soon started looking for other blogs, and soon discovered Doomypanda's Animal Jam Stream. From the "Other Blogs" link I found several other blogs that I know frequently read, including Rainbow's Ultimate Animal Jam Blog, Animal Jam Daily, and The Animal Jam Novel (All links can be found on my "Other Animal Jam Blogs Link").

Recently, in the middle of a French test, I decided to start my very own blog. I named it The Animal Jam Bubble, because just like now, in the middle of the Covid-19 Crisis, we all need a bubble of people with a something in common. I also wanted a way to keep in touch with the Animal Jam community, without playing the game.

I can't wait to see you all in Jamma!

Whats Happening?

 Hello Jammers!

Just a heads up, I'm going to (try!) posting every weekday, and possibly the rare weekend. If I'm SUPER excited, high on sugar, or full of ideas, I may end up posting multiple times a day(!). This may get changed once I head back to school, since I may not have as much time on my device. On to the news!

 Animal Jam Play Wild Update

I tried contacting AJHQ to see if there was any hope of Animal Jam Play Wild being released on Chromebooks. So far, it sounds like they aren't particularly interested in expanding the game for Chrome users. I'm really annoyed because I have items on my account that I would at least like to give away if I won't be able to play again, but I can't even do that. Only time will tell.

Things To Look Forward To

I've got a LOT of exciting things I would like to add to this blog! I'm still going through popcornpizza25's guide to starting a blog ( https://createajblogfromscratch.blogspot.com/ ), but here are a few things I would like to add!
1. Ask Tkaranto!
Its exactly what it sounds like. Ask me questions!

2. Other Animal Jam Blogs!
I'd like to give credit to all the bloggers that inspired me and help other bloggers get started.

3.Trading Center!
A small section where readers can post what items they are looking for, and what items they are offering.

4. Den Decorating Tips And Tricks!
I'm non-member, so most (if not all) of these tricks will work for all Jammers! Ill also be using easily obtained items, so you won't need to go through the fuss of finding someone with the item, and then trying to get them to part with their children (I've been through this too- it can be stressful!).

5.Contests And Giveaways!!
Once I am able to access my account, get ready for contests and giveaways! All contests will be accessible by all- as a non-member, I know how annoying it is to want to join an art contest and then discover as a non-member, I can't make paintings! If I do do art contests, I'll make sure I have masterpiece tokens available to those who need them.

That is all for now- I may be posting later today to make up for this (possibly) boring post. See you around!

Great Items To Invest In

 Howdy, Jammers!

Many Jammers spend their time in Animal Jam trying to "Get Rare". One of the easiest ways of doing this is obtaining items that are in high demand (many people want them) and frequently increase in value. Here is a list of 5 items that I think are worth investing in:

1. Den Betas.

Den Betas don't often increase in value, but trades including den betas are very likely to be accepted. Some examples include rocking horses, and open signs.

2. Spikes.

The values of items are generally valued in spikes. As with den betas, they don't often increase in value, but are highly sought for. Some examples include red short wrists, blue long wrists, pink short collars, black long collars.

3. Promotional Items (aka PROMOS)

These items are obtained through a code included in Animal Jam products, such as seasonal boxes and play sets. These items are limited edition, so there are a limited number in the game. Their  values often increase due to demand. Some examples include phantom crowns, snow leopard slippers, shark tails, sparkly berets, and rare pets.

4. Headdresses

Headdresses were removed from the game, never to return, and as a result are highly sought for. The value of headdresses frequently increases, and they are good items to use when trading for items with a high value. Some examples include the light pink headdress, the tan headdress, and the RIM headdress.

5. Skunk Tails.

Released during the Tail Sale, skunk tails are one of the few tail items for non members, and as a result are highly sought after. Their value steadily increases, making them a great item to invest in. Some examples include orange skunk tails, purple skunk tails, and green skunk tails.

Other great items include party hats, nerd glasses, neon bow and arrows, sheep cloaks, and cupid wings.

Jam on!

Welcome!

Welcome to my Animal Jam Blog!

My Animal Jam Username is Tkaranto, and I have been playing for nearly two years. I am an avid den decorator, and really enjoy trading. Sadly, I am unable to play Animal Jam because the app is unavailable on Chromebook, but I am still looking forward to interacting with the Animal Jam community.  Thank you for stopping by!
