TMR: OCTOBER EDITION, AND MORE NIGHT OF THE PHANTOMS UPDATES!

 Greetings Jammers!

I honestly can’t say that I was too busy to post… its more like I was too busy checking out the new Night of The Phantoms update.

(I also have some news on TMR! Scroll to the bottom to find out more!)

 I finished Super Sweets several times and got the pretty epic trophy, but the Light in the Dark was a different story… I can’t get past level three, and once I die, my progress restarts, so I’ve given up.

I’ve also tried to find some shovels to earn some fossils, but every time I get a shovel I only get 500 gems. My mom actually decided to help me and logged onto my account to help in my search for shovels, but that only led to her having a panic attack because she thought a Jammer was following her and planning to hack my account. That “Jammer” was my pet. Good job mom.

I finally got an unknown fossil… the lazy way. 

I finally found a Jammer willing to part with their fossil for one paintseed tree!

I then remembered that I could take the fossil to Graham… and…

...and…

Oooooh! A fossilized gecko in amber!

I really like how it looks, and I’m definitely going to try and find more. Let me know if any of you have any fossils you would like to trade!

On a separate note...

Apparently THE ALPHAS ARE DRAINING THE FREAKING SWAMP. 

They just walked in and said, hey, LET'S DRAIN THIS SWAMP!

They are ALPHAS. AREN’T THEY SUPPOSED TO BE PROTECTING ANIMAL HABITATS INSTEAD OF DESTROYING THEM???

Besides, there is nothing more fun than going into a giant pond of mud and looking like something from the black lagoon. I’d hate to see it go. I’ll only forgive AJHQ if they bring Dinosaurs to AJPW :3

Anyways...

WAIT-WHAT??? PHANTOMS IN JAMMA??? *FREAK*

At Alpha Headquarters, you can purchase a paintseed launcher for 2,500 gems. After performing the actions (Its something like dance, sit, jump, sit, ninja emote. I don’t remember :/), phantoms should start popping up around Jamma with a circle with a paintseed over their head. Clicking on this will allow you to launch paintseeds at them! 

Once they are defeated, two chests will pop up for only a few minutes: one for all Jammers, and one for only members. The only annoying part is that Jammers start crowding around the chests, making them hard to click… all you can really do is just keep clicking and ask Jammers to leave some space around the chests.

After defeating your first phantom, you should get this plaque along with another prize! When in your den, it shows the number of phantoms you have defeated.

The prizes are either all Night of the Phantoms- themed, gems, or phantom tokens!

I’ve got to say, it’s pretty fun, but I’m still wondering what is going to happen when the countdown on the portal runs out…

… And AJHQ is just trying to mess with the trading system again. At least now, if you see an “Alpha” Item, you can actually figure out how many Jammers own it and it’s “true” rarity.

A bunch of mini movies are being shown in Sarepia Forest! I haven’t watched any just yet, but I definitely will. I didn’t enter this contest because I honestly have no movie making skills other than making those a little bit crazy i-movies with my buddies that end up blurry and overall poorly made.

HAPPY NIGHT OF THE PHANTOMS!

 Greetings Jammers!

Happy Night of The Phantoms!!!

This is my first year celebrating Night of The Phantoms with AJPW, so I’m not entirely sure what to expect! On the Daily Explorer, AJHQ has left a LOT of hints… such as this mysterious crystal.

 

A lot of Jammers are speculating that this stone might be some kind of heart stone and new lore will finally be coming to Jamma! 

And something mysterious is looming... but what?

The AJPW was just released a couple of days ago, and I’ve finally managed to download it! Let's see what is new!

For Mira’s sake, LOAD!!!! 

*GASP* ANOTHER CONTEST!?! WHAT?!?!

Im so glad that AJHQ is looking for new game ideas from the community. Its nice to know that YOU can help make the game better, and that there is a chance that things you want to be added may actually be added in-game. 

I’m super excited for this contest, but I’m not so sure what kind of potion to create. I mean, AJHQ has already created potions for growing, shrinking, doubling gems that are won, gifting currencies… There’s not much left except a walking on walls potion, and maybe an invisibility potion? They are REALLY asking you to get creative.

Maybe a summon an alpha potion that allows you to meet the alphas? (DON’T STEAL THAT IDEA, I NEED IT lol) 

Oooh, cool! Apparently there is a tradition where a 1000 sapphire bundle is released for Night of The Phantoms! All the items look super cool and I would definitely buy it if I could afford it XD

Tarantulas are here!

AJHQ finally managed to end the annoying cats and dogs theme (no offence to anyone). I didn’t particularly like it because the whole theme of Animal Jam is more about nature and the wild and not domesticated pets, and the design of the cats/dogs were kind of sloppy and not thought through. It was fun for a month or two, then it got dull pretty fast.

A lot of Jammers are commenting on how AJHQ made such a scary and terrifying creature so cute, and I have to agree. AJHQ seems to be putting a LOT more effort for Night of The Phantoms, and I’m not complaining about anything.

Now you can find fossils around Jamma, and take them to Graham to be identified! Being the dinosaur and prehistoric creature freak that I am, this is definitely my favourite part of the update so far! Maybe, if enough fossils are collected, it will unlock a new heart stone and prehistoric creatures like dinosaurs and marine reptiles will arrive in Jamma?

If so, I'M ALL IN FOR IT!

(update: I haven’t found any fossils yet, but I’ll post about it once I find one and get it identified!)

I honestly really like this game because you actually learn cool facts and you're kind of forced to read them :)

Annnnd The Phantom Vortex is Back!

I’ve only ever played it in AJC, an even then, I never got past level two :l

This version looks a lot more fun, and I can’t wait to try it out!

The Spooky Party and Pet Vampire Bats have returned!

The bats are really cute and I’m definitely going to adopt one once the Spooky Party is available! I’ve always like that party- I'm not sure why, but I think I like how well the den is decorated and that fun pool of slime :)

A new Pack Run has been released!

(I can’t say much more. I'll have to see how good the prizes are to decide if I’ll play)

World Animal Day is on October 4th! 

Take some time out of your day and learn a bit about your favourite animals and how they are treated around the world. Just reading and understanding is a huge step to raising awareness about animal welfare!

And last but not least, some fun facts about tarantulas! 

I sure wouldn’t like to see THAT crawling towards me o-0

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this update! AJHQ has put so much effort into what seems to be one of the most important *holidays* in Jamma! I can’t wait to find out what else is coming!

AJHQ has already started releasing some Night of The Phantoms themed items, so I’m going to try and purchase the Haunted Mansion, and I’ll make a short post about decorating it!
